OK, it’s been a while, a long while since I put anything new up. Here’s the scoop for the last couple months. Andrea and I are happily married, living the married life, basically doing what we did before. The catch is the hassle of a name change. We’re enjoying the fact that it’s official and we can get on with our lives.
I unfortunately got rather sick and it wouldn’t go away, so I went to the doctor’s office to figure out what the heck I had. The first time around I was given some anti-puke medication and it helped a lot. The next week the mystery illness had not gone away, so in to the doctor’s I went again. This time, after a throat swab and a blood test, I was told I had Mono. I guess all that honeymooning tried to kill me, but then Andrea had no symptoms. It’s contagious and easily spread through coughing, so I could have gotten it anywhere.
Unfortunately I had missed some work and after being told I had Mono, I’d miss another week or more. I guess that was too much and my boss let me go. Get sick = get fired. Sucks hard. Oh well, I’m on the job safari atm and I’m stalking a couple good opportunities atm.
I just uploaded some pictures of Justin out playing in the snow this morning. We actually received a out 4-6 inches of the white stuff; nice thick wet snow which was perfect for snowman making. There’s a bunch of pictures and 3 short videos at the end. If you have trouble with the video clips, turn off video acceleration in your players options. Andrea had to do that at work.
I’ll be putting up photos in the next couple days, for real this time.
OK, I’ve been majorly slacking
The wedding is over and done with (thank some diety or all of them) and we can get on with our lives. Andrea and I want to thank everyone who helped, we needed it as anyone who was there could see. Also I want thank everyone who came and participated in our joining. Also those who were jsut there for the food, thanks for coming, we needed bodies to chow down since only half came who said they would.
If anyone has pictures, please email or mail them. If there are just too many a CD/DVD would be great, I can come download them to my laptop as well. I’ve got a bunch of pics now and I plan to start putting some older photos up from both Andrea and I. More to come later.
If anyone needs a few here is the website for our photographer, Melissa Lagis is good people. Book her for senior pictures or weddings or whatever, she was great.
The Picture Lady – Our post with Pics
Hey folks, here’s a quick reminder for those few people who read this and for those coming to RSVP.
On the left look at : Pages -> Wedding Info -> RSVP
I was thinking that it’s been a bit since I updated the page here. It has been. My birthday (19th) has come and gone, I’m another year older. Yay, or something.
Now on to updates that matter. My job is doing well, Andrea’s as well. Justin is wacky as ever. Andrea’s condo is almost sold finally, just going through the inspections and such.
Wedding stuff: We’ve got tons of decorations now, buying what we can, renting what we can’t buy cheaper. Alpenglow is looking real good, we went up there last week and took a second look, then inventoried what we would need. Of course with everything going right and on time, we had to have a flat tire on the way down the mountain. To top that off, Andrea’s tires are jsut short of bald so they wouldn’t fix them.
New folks coming to look: if you received your invitations, the RSVP page is off to the left in the wedding section.
I just added a section to the left also “Email@AlaskaMorrows”, as you can tell it’s email at, you’ll never guess, AlaskaMorrows.com. Google’s Gmail now has mail hosting for domains, so I jumped at that since I really like the Gmail interface and really did not like Godaddy’s webmail. If you want an @alaskamorrows.com email, drop me a line. I’ve got a pile of them before I have to pay
Hi all, not much happening here. We’re both working much, and the condo is taking a log of work. Redoing flooring, moving light fixtures, installing cabinets, and lots of painting. Eventually it will be done, sooner the better.
On the wedding front, we’ve been Ebaying lately and picking up decorations as we see neat stuff. Andrea snagged some snazzy little candle lanterns and some small white vases. We’ve got mirrors, arches, silk flowers, rocks, marbles, all sorts of stuff and nothing done yet. =)
