I was thinking that it’s been a bit since I updated the page here. It has been. My birthday (19th) has come and gone, I’m another year older. Yay, or something.
Now on to updates that matter. My job is doing well, Andrea’s as well. Justin is wacky as ever. Andrea’s condo is almost sold finally, just going through the inspections and such.
Wedding stuff: We’ve got tons of decorations now, buying what we can, renting what we can’t buy cheaper. Alpenglow is looking real good, we went up there last week and took a second look, then inventoried what we would need. Of course with everything going right and on time, we had to have a flat tire on the way down the mountain. To top that off, Andrea’s tires are jsut short of bald so they wouldn’t fix them.
New folks coming to look: if you received your invitations, the RSVP page is off to the left in the wedding section.
I just added a section to the left also “Email@AlaskaMorrows”, as you can tell it’s email at, you’ll never guess, AlaskaMorrows.com. Google’s Gmail now has mail hosting for domains, so I jumped at that since I really like the Gmail interface and really did not like Godaddy’s webmail. If you want an @alaskamorrows.com email, drop me a line. I’ve got a pile of them before I have to pay
Thank some diety of your choice, Andrea’s condo is nearly done. We’ve got the carpet straight, the tiles all in, painting done, bathroom renovated, new lighting installed, and half a million things upgraded or fixed. Pretty much everything is done now, just a little work in the bathroom, some trim and cleaning the tiles.
If anyone knows someone looking at buying a condo in Anchorage, get a hold of us. We’ll probably get photos tomorrow night and post some.
We’re still planning wedding stuff, it’s getting crazy trying to keep it all straight with all that is happening. Last night we were digging through old family slides and photos. My Dad had crazy amounts of slides, hundreds that my Mom had organized years ago while she was using them to paint. Tons of photos also. Borh I’ll probably be scanning a few, I might end up looking into an automated slide scanner or maybe some service to do them all.
Anyway, that’s it for now. It’s late and I’m getting some sleep.
Chris Souser on KIMO 13 news on Wednsday, June 21, 2003.
Chris was interviewed about a offroad moutain bike trail he helped organize and build this summer. Andrea says for everyone give him some flack about his wrinkled shirt, but otherwise he did a good job.

I’d recomend downloading and then playing rather than streaming it. The video is in an Xvid format. If you need a codec or player, grab it here: http://www.free-codecs.com I’d recommend the Standard version, since it comes with Media Player Classic (great player that will play almost any video format).
Hi all, not much happening here. We’re both working much, and the condo is taking a log of work. Redoing flooring, moving light fixtures, installing cabinets, and lots of painting. Eventually it will be done, sooner the better.
On the wedding front, we’ve been Ebaying lately and picking up decorations as we see neat stuff. Andrea snagged some snazzy little candle lanterns and some small white vases. We’ve got mirrors, arches, silk flowers, rocks, marbles, all sorts of stuff and nothing done yet. =)
Well, many may know I’ve been unemployed since being dropped at Clearwire. It was for the better though, Clearwire had no future with the company and they don’t seem to want to customise the service to the needs of the users.
The new position I have is with TekMate, a IP telephony and network design firm. I’m in the Customer Support slot, dealing with being the contact person between the customers and the company. I’m supposed to be the know all, fix all type guy once I get up to speed I suppose. Sounds good and it even is with a company that is established for a change.

As you can see, the site have a bit of a new look. I tore the old theme down, then built the images back up. It’s a bit more Alaskan now, and definately more “us”.
I’ve added more content today. Links on the left side and bio pages in the Authors section for Andrea and I to fill out eventually. The main thing though, is that I finally settled on a photo gallery module to use. Coppermine is up and running, just click the “Photo Gallery” link on the left to access it. If you sign up as user, it will set aside a section for you. Each user has 20 megs available for whatever pictures you want to upload. I suppose we’ll be adding stuff there soon.
Oh, I also enabled the archives and calendar since the site has been up a month and actually has something on it now.
Well, the weekend is over once again. Andrea and I had a Garage Sale on saturday and Sunday, so we basically worked all weekend. It was busy both days and we managed to get rid of a lot of stuff, so it worked out rather well.
Not much new on the wedding front atm. We talked to the Photographer last week, but that is about all. Everything is still on the same schedule right now.
Well, the weekend is over, so I thought I’d stop in with an update. If anyone out there slept through it, call your mother and suck up a lot. I called my mother did you? I did get to meet all of Andrea’s family, she’s got a lot up here. My family is spread throughout the US while Andrea lucks out and most are here. She even had relatives in town.
Culley and I had a great time on Saturday getting to be guinea pigs for a setup. Culley’s friend Christohper Souser needed someone to test out some lighting equipment on. We actually came out with a few really great photos. Here’s my favorite.
